American Fire Retardant Corp. and American Safety Products Increasing Production Team to Meet Current Demand Thursday July 8, 10:03 am ET SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 2004--American Fire Retardant Corp. (OTCBB:AFRT - News) announced today that it is increasing its development and production staff in order to fill the current demand for the GLOVEBOX®. These new positions are in the Santee, California manufacturing facility and will allow AFRC/ASP to fully integrate the development and manufacturing processes. The additional team members are necessary to fulfill the orders for the GLOVEBOX® American Safety Products has already secured for the fourth quarter of 2004 -- beginning October 1, 2004. James R. Wheeler, vice president of sales and marketing, estimated that, "This new development and manufacturing capacity could effectively result in AFRC greatly increasing its current revenues in 2005.
